From pack to plate
Getting started is easy.
01
Cut to suit the recipe
Finely chop with a knife to distribute the flavour. Leave slightly larger pieces when you want to feel their texture in a biscuit or yoghurt bowl.
02
Allow for its sweetness
Contains added sugar. Reduce or adjust other sweeteners in the recipe after tasting and check the nutrition table on the pack.
03
Add a contrast
Pair with citrus, chocolate, pear or apple. For savoury dishes, try a few finely chopped cubes in a sauce or stir-fry.
Try these at home
Three ideas to get you started.
Suggested cooking quantities. Adjust flavour and timings to your ingredients and equipment.

Yoghurt with pear and ginger
You will need
150 g plain dairy or plant-based yoghurt, 1 pear, 5–10 g diced ginger and optional cinnamon.

You will need
100 g rolled oats, 1 ripe banana and 20 g finely chopped diced ginger.

You will need
300 g vegetables, 150 g tofu, 10 g finely chopped diced ginger, 1 tablespoon oil and 1 teaspoon soy sauce.

Look after your pantry
Good storage matters too.
Store the bag closed in a cool, dry place. Use clean, dry utensils and follow the date and storage conditions specified by the manufacturer.
Always check the ingredients, allergens, batch number, best-before date and pack instructions. Recipes may contain allergens from other ingredients.
Before you begin
Your questions, answered.
Can I replace fresh ginger with these cubes?
Not always in the same quantity: sweetness, moisture, texture and intensity differ. Start with a small amount and adjust the recipe.
Do they need soaking?
It is not necessary for these ideas. If your recipe requires a softer texture, chop them or add them to a preparation containing liquid.
Can I add them to an infusion?
Yes, for a sweet, spicy flavour. This is not a medicinal preparation and the drink will contain any sugar that dissolves.
How do I keep the flavour from dominating?
Chop finely and distribute throughout the mixture. Lemon, pear and apple help blend its character.
